MISSION: A new brand built from the ground up. Cloud services, made human.
After a series of strategic acquisitions, cloud services company Reliam needed more than just a new logo—they needed a brand. One that could unify the business, reflect a new direction, and show up credibly at the industry's biggest events just weeks away.
We were brought in to build a new brand identity for the company—soon to be renamed Mission Cloud—and to develop the creative system that would support its growth. I led the end-to-end brand program across identity development, asset production, and execution.
Working closely with Mission’s marketing leadership, I defined the scope of the rebrand, structured the creative roadmap, and led a team of designers, writers, and motion partners to bring it to life. This included:
Leading brand strategy and identity development
Assembling and managing the creative team and agency collaborators
Directing creative across logo, design system, motion toolkit, and brand templates
Delivering a new website, marketing assets, and sales collateral
Creating environmental concepts for in-office branding
Building a brand guideline system for scale
The Identity
At the core of the new identity is the Mission “O”—designed as two interlocking halves, symbolizing partnership between Mission and its clients. The brand’s visual system was built to feel structured yet warm, balancing cloud infrastructure expertise with a human-first tone.
We developed a cutout photography style that places people at the center. Subjects were isolated and color-treated in Mission’s vibrant orange, then layered over color blocks to create consistency and energy across channels.
The result was a brand that felt smart, scalable, and unlike anything else in the category.
